Susan Travis
Raised in the New Mexico mountains, Susan Travis comes from a family heritage of art and adventure. In the 80's, she traveled with the popular musical production, Up With People, before earning a BA in Political Science, an MA in International Relations, and an MA and PhD in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology.
In 2001, while living in Lugano, Switzerland, she served as Assistant Dean of Students for a small American college, before returning to the states to teach political science, psychology, sociology, and world religions. She has worked on several non-profits, including as executive director of NM Organized Against Trafficking Humans (NM-OATH).
Susan Travis is currently a professor of American National Government, Sociology, and Positive Psychology in New Mexico. She is also an artist and writer.
